The following programs are scheduled to air as part of Election Night coverage on Tuesday, November 3, 2020:

 

  • “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” - 7:00 PM - 2:00 AM ET/4:00 - 11:00 PM PT - Tuesday, November 3, 2020

 

  • “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” (Late Night) - 2:00 - 4:00 AM ET/***11:00 PM - 1:00 AM PT - Tuesday, November 3, 2020 (actually early Wednesday morning, November 4, 2020)

 

***Pacific stations may elect to schedule a local news broadcast at 11:00 PM PT with a clean rejoin to “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” (Late Night) at 11:35 PM PT.***

 

Please note the following:

 

  • There will be only one feed of “ABC World News Tonight with David Muir,” scheduled to air in the 6:30 - 7:00 PM ET/3:30 - 4:00 PM PT time period.  Stations are expected to accommodate this feed into their schedules.  All other “ABC World News Tonight with David Muir” feeds will be pre-empted due to Election Night coverage.

 

  • “ABC World News Now” will be pre-empted and “America This Morning” will begin at 4:00 AM ET/1:00 AM PT, concluding at 7:00 AM in each time zone.

 

  • Local Cutaways in “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” will occur at the following times and will be protected with live election board graphics, not anchored coverage:

    • 5:34 local cutaway at 8:24:26 PM ET (max. of 1:04 for local sale)

  • Mountain stations may elect to schedule local news broadcasts at 9:00 PM MT and 10:00 PM MT with clean rejoins to “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” at 9:35 PM MT and 10:35 PM MT, respectively.

 

  • Pacific stations may elect to schedule a local news broadcast at 8:00 PM PT with a clean rejoin to “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” at 8:35 PM PT.  In addition, as mentioned above, Pacific stations may also elect to schedule a local news broadcast at 11:00 PM PT with a clean rejoin to “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” (Late Night) at 11:35 PM PT.

 

  • In addition to the clean rejoins mentioned above, it is our intention to provide clean rejoins every half-hour in both “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” and “Your Voice/Your Vote: Election Night 2020” (Late Night).

 

  • The :12 station identification lower-third snipe opportunities will not be available during these telecasts.  These opportunities are typically triggered by your BrandNet device at the bottom of the hour.
