“THE 2019 MISS AMERICA COMPETITION”

The 2019 Miss America Competition airs on ABC on Sunday, September 9, from 9:00 pm ET to 11:00 pm ET from the famed Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.  “Dancing with the Stars” host and dancer Carrie Ann Inaba is the host.  Joining Inaba as co-host for the evening is television personality Ross Mathews.

 

The 2019 Competition marks the dawning of a new day for the Miss America Organization. This year’s show will highlight women from all walks of life who are advancing the message of female empowerment through their efforts in the areas of scholarship, talent and social impact. Now with a historic, all-female leadership team paving the way for both the Miss America Organization and the Miss America Foundation, a new era of progressiveness, inclusiveness and empowerment has begun. 

 

ABC NewsOne will be offering live shots from Atlantic City’s Boardwalk on Sunday for Early Morning & Midday Newscasts.  ABC News Correspondent Maggie Rulli will offer a preview package and be available for custom live shots from 6:00 am ET to 1:30 pm ET.

 

NewsOne will also offer a wrap package on Miss America for Sunday night newscasts following the Miss America Competition show.
