Wednesday, May 16: Who is Meghan Markle? An American princess! A Hollywood royal! The girl with that Markle Sparkle! The former “Suits” actress turned future British royalty has been called a lot of things – but exactly who is Meghan Markle? Born in Los Angeles, Markle describes herself as half black and half white. After graduating from Northwestern she pursued her acting career – nabbing smaller roles before landing a gig on the television series for seven seasons. But Markle is also a well-known and outspoken feminist – with a breadth of humanitarian work that rivals her acting career. In this feature, Maggie Rulli takes a look at Meghan Markle – her family, her relationship with Prince Harry, and her future as British Royalty.
