On July 31, the current NewsOne FTP site will be ended. On August 1, you will no longer be able to upload or pull video from this FTP site. We are doing this because of continuing concerns about security due to the open nature of this FTP site.

We understand that many stations use our FTP site to contribute video to NewsOne and to share video among stations. We know that this will have an impact in your workflow.
​
We have an existing contribution tool in our NewsOneNET system that many stations are already using. The contribution tool is as easy to use as FTP, and it sends the video directly into the NewsOneNET system. That means that it will take less time for NewsOne to turn the video around and make it available to all stations.
WE ASK YOU TO PLEASE BEGIN MIGRATING TO THE NewsOneNET CONTRIBUTION TOOL NOW, BEFORE THE JULY 31 DEADLINE.

You can access the contribution tool from both the main NewsOne website at www.abcnewsone.com by clicking on the “Upload Video” button in the upper left of the homepage. You can also access to contribution tool or from the NewsOneNET main page by clicking on the “up” arrow in the “NEWS” section on the upper left of the main page. Click on “Upload Media” to start the upload process.
