THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31:   

WILL AI REPLACE HUMAN WORKERS? 

A report from Indeed Hiring Lab evaluated job skills to determine the likelihood of AI replacing human workers. What jobs and skills have the highest potential for AI replacement? We’ll go over the key findings of the report. 

 

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1:   

HOLIDAY SHOPPING SEASON TRENDS 

Holiday shopping is ramping up and experts predict the holiday sales push to happen earlier this year since Thanksgiving falls at the end of November, shrinking the number of shopping days between holidays. We’ll hear from experts on what shoppers can expect. 

 

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4:   

WAYS FAMILIES CAN PREVENT CHILDHOOD OBESITY 

Rates of obesity and severe obesity increased dramatically in kids and teens over the past 2 decades, according to data from the CDC. We’ll hear from Dr. Alok Patel on things families can do to prevent childhood obesity. 

 

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5:   

PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY: LOCATION DATA ON PHOTOS 

When you take a snapshot with your digital camera, including the one on your smartphone, the device captures data about where, when, and how the image was recorded. This is called Exif data, and we’ll hear from an expert on why it can be a privacy concern and how to delete it from your photos. 

 

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 6:   

CANCER GHOSTING 

Cancer Ghosting is a tragic but common phenomenon where cancer patients get “ghosted” by friends or family after their diagnosis, often because the loved one doesn’t know what to say and can’t handle the pressure and stigma of a cancer diagnosis. We’ll talk to a cancer survivor who has experienced this as well as a psychiatrist to provide tips on what to say when a friend or family member is diagnosed. 

 

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7:   

AGING RACEFULLY 

Some of us slow down as we get older, but these marathoners are keeping up the pace in their later years. In fact, the number of older runners participating in the NYC Marathon has increased over time. We’ll hear from some older runners in this year’s race on what keeps them going. 

 

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8:   

ZOMBIE MORTGAGES 

Some homeowners are receiving notices about zombie mortgages, a second mortgage that resurfaces long after a borrower believes it was discharged or otherwise settled. We’ll have expert advice on what to do if this happens to you. 

 

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11:   

NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH: NAVAJO WATER 

Today, the Navajo Nation has limited access to the water that flows in and around their reservation. We’ll hear from Kyle Lewis, a Native American and young veteran who returned to the reservation to help his aging mother and grandmother haul water to their farm. He hopes a pipeline will be built to supply his land and home with clean, fresh water soon. Kyle is featured in the new ABC podcast, “Reclaimed: The Lifeblood of Navajo Nation.” The first episode drops on 11/11. 

 

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13:   

TECH DEALS FOR HOLIDAY SHOPPING 

Electronics and tech are popular gifts during the holidays. We’ll hear from CNET’s Bridget Carey on what the hottest picks are this year, how to find the best deals, and when to buy. 

 

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14:   

TIPS FOR PARENTS OF PICKY EATERS 

As kids begin to develop their food preferences, they may be selective about what they eat. We’ll have expert tips on how to make sure your kids are getting the nutrients they need along with how to guide them away from picky eating. 

 

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15:   

HOW TO REMEDY LONELINESS DURING THE HOLIDAYS 

If you or someone you care about is experiencing loneliness, it could get worse during the holiday season. We’ll hear from an expert on ways to prevent and address loneliness amid the festivities. 

 

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18:   

THANKSGIVING TRAVEL PREVIEW 

Thanksgiving week is one of the busiest times of the year to travel. We will look at the forecast for traffic, the outlook for gas prices, and provide tips to make the trip easier. 

 

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 20:   

CMA AWARDS PREVIEW 

The 58th Annual Country Music Association Awards will air on ABC on November 20th. We will offer a package previewing country music’s biggest night. 

 

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21:   

THANKSGIVING DINNER COSTS 

The time is here to start planning Thanksgiving dinner. How high will the grocery bill be this year? We go over what prices consumers can expect and what deals to look out for. 

 

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22:   

BIKE BUS 

It’s a safe and fun way for kids to get to school called Bike Bus. It’s making waves across the country and globally. We’ll hear from organizers and kids about what makes this trend so popular. 

 

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 25:   

BLACK FRIDAY AND CYBER MONDAY TIPS 

It’s almost Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We’ll have tips from shopping expert Trae Bodge on the top deals and how to make the most of the discounts. 

 

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27:   

HOLIDAY MOVIE RELEASES PREVIEW 

The end of the year is the time when movie studios bring out their big box office guns. We’ll take a look at the movies hitting the big screen this holiday season.
